This role spans lab research, pilot testing, and field deployment, with direct impact on scaling next-generation extraction technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop materials, coatings, and chemical processes to enhance mineral extraction efficiency from brine systems
  • Plan and execute laboratory experiments and field trials independently, including pilot-scale testing
  • Analyze experimental data and translate findings into actionable process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational protocols
  • Support product validation and performance benchmarking in real-world environments
  • Collaborate on sensor integration, data analysis, and process monitoring systems

  • Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and process optimization
  • Familiarity with process simulation tools, sensor systems, or data analytics platforms is a plus
  • Experience in field work, pilot systems, or industrial environments preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; Spanish is a plus)
  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel to field sites (U.S. and international) as needed
